reSOIL - The Good Earth

You are what you eat and you are what your vegetables eat too. That’s why your choice of soil is so important. Introducing reSOIL. Made entirely of organic waste and yard and garden trimmings beneficially-recycled into a natural medium that directly supports pesticide-free gardening, water conservation and greenhouse gas reduction. No pesticides, fertilizers or additives. It’s the good earth that’s especially good for the Earth too.

There are many ways to reSOIL. Find yours from the choices below.

Five paths to zero waste.

  • Make a cloth shopping bag from some old bed linen or clothes
  • Seed or plant swap with your neighbours
  • Organise a clothes, toys or tools swap party
  • Make a meal from leftovers
  • Email your MP about whichever environmental issue you feel strongly about

Zero Waste. Beyond linear thinking.

Natural systems are cyclical and produce no waste. Our industrial system today is primarily linear. Not only is this inefficient and costly, but these products often contain persistent or toxic materials that negatively impact the environment when they are incinerated or disposed of in landfills. We must find ways to fulfill the equation waste = resource within our industrial and societal systems.

Zero Waste is a goal and a process that involves every one of us. It leads to a future where trash is a thing of the past.  Solid waste isn't managed or hidden in landfills but seen and used as a resource. Through redesign, reduction, reuse, repair, reclamation, recycling, composting and other activities, you support local employment and sustainable economic development.

If you don't want to pay for recycling or garbage disposal, remember, zero waste is free.
